How much does a WordPress website cost in the UK?

Can I edit the site myself?
Yes, and that is usually why people choose WordPress. The editor is set up so your words, photos, posts and products are yours to change. The layout, and the parts that could break the site, are kept out of the way so you cannot knock them over by accident.
Do you use themes or page builders like Elementor or Divi?
No. Page builders are the main reason WordPress sites are slow. They churn out a huge amount of code for a layout that could have been written simply, and they tie you to the builder for as long as the site exists. Your design is built for you instead.
Will you migrate my existing WordPress site?
Yes, including your words, photos, web addresses and redirects. Keeping the old addresses, and pointing any that change to their new home, is what stops a move wiping out the rankings the old site earned. It is the step most rushed moves skip.
Who handles updates and security?
We do, as part of the plan. WordPress and plugin updates, weekly backups, SSL and monitoring. An old plugin is how nearly every hacked WordPress site gets hacked, so this is not optional on a site we host.
Do I own the WordPress site?

Is WordPress good for SEO?
It can be, but not by itself. WordPress lets you control titles, headings, web addresses, schema and sitemaps. Whether they are set up right depends on the build. A fast, well-built WordPress site competes perfectly well. A pile of theme and plugins with no schema and six-second load times does not, and no SEO plugin will save it.
